A Snow Day, Strike that - A Snow Week

We have had off from school this entire week due to an ice/snow storm that came through beginning Tuesday. No one know why we were off Monday, but we were. Anyway, the ice came in on Tuesday and we lost power at our house on Wednesday morning. We are staying with Kari and Tim until the power is restored at our house. The electric company's recording says it may be many days until power is restored and they suggest making alternate arrangements. So, thankfully the Reckarts love us (and our dog) enough to let us "live" with them for a little while. We have been enjoying ourselves playing games and Kari and I have been catching up on some scrapbooking.

Emerson went out in the snow yesterday and enjoyed himself greatly, and then made a return trip this evening. I got him some snow boots on my trip to Walmart (couldn't take the cabin fever any longer) and he needed to try them out. Uncle Tim gave him a pair of ski goggles to complete the look.
