A Day with TT

On Saturday, Emerson had a very busy day with TT. Kari and I had to go to the annual STEM Fair (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) that my students present at each year. Since Daddy was working, that meant Emerson got to spend some quality time with TT.

Emerson got to go on a trip to Home Depot where TT got a new grill, and Emerson got the project of the day kit to complete later. Emerson and TT built a rain gauge. TT was a little sad because they were out of little kid aprons, so he will be returning next Saturday to get a miniature orange apron for Emerson.

After helping to assemble the grill, build the rain gauge and lots of playing outside, this is what TT found: Emerson was SO tired that he fell asleep on the patio! He never even let go of his tools!

Later, after Kari and I returned, Emerson chose a paint color for his rain gauge (Emerson calls it a bird house). He had a great time painting it "boo". He was very precise in his brush strokes and made sure to cover the entire thing! He was so excited he didn't even mind wearing his smock.
