Emerson is a funny kid these days. Everything he says has such emotion and his imagination is running wild! You just never know when he might be telling a story about Mommy hitting a bush on New Circle (didn't happen) or a car bouncing on top of the fence, oh and it was a black car. He keeps us laughing.
This morning he woke up about 15 minutes before I would get him up to leave for the sitter's (6:00) and came downstairs while I finished getting ready. Here is the conversation that took place:
Emerson: Mommy, it dark outside
Me: Yes, Emerson it is still kinda night time
Emerson: Yep, it dark. How you think that happened Mommy?
Me: (laughing) Well, God just makes it that way sometimes (more laughing)
We just never know what he might say!
