Folly Beach

We had an AWESOME time on our vacation to Folly Beach, SC this year! Emerson absolutely loved the beach! Before we went, KK and Emerson made a list of things taht Emerson wanted to do while at the beach:

1. See a dolphin

2. Eat crab

3. Build a sandcastle

4. Bury Daddy in the sand

5. Play beach ball on the beach...
(and some other things that I can't remember right now)

Emerson did all of those things and more! We were all sorry to see our fun times in the sand and surf come to an end.

Day 1 - Emerson and TT check out the waves

It was SO hot while we were there, almost 115 with the heat index every day. On this day we trekked out to the Morris Lighthouse.

Looking for shells and other beach goodies; we spotted a star fish, sand dollar, and jellyfish this day.

KK was trying to get a very "beachy" photo of Emerson, this one was the best.

Our condo had a pool and we spent just as much time there as we did at the beach. Emerson learned to "swim" by himself with his chest piece on. **Video to come on a later post**

On our last day, Emerson sat in the surf for almost 30 minutes and played in the sand by himself.
