Disney: Day 2

We started the day off at Animal Kingdom with the Kilimanjaro Safari, where we got up close and personal with a white rhino. There were two that were hanging out in the road right in front of us! After the safari, we headed over to the Expedition Everest roller coaster. Emerson was a little freaked out by the backwards portion of this ride, but otherwise had a great time!

Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom

After lunch we headed back to the resort for a little down time. It actually worked out well, because it started to storm as we waited for our bus back to the resort. Emerson and I did a little swimming and then got ready to head out to Hollywood Studios for dinner. We had dinner at Mama Melrose's and it was fantastic! We had convinced Emerson to ride the Tower of Terror, so we had Fast Passes for after dinner. We also caught Lightning McQueen and Mater for a little photo op on our way!

Emerson was a champ waiting in line and while on the ride. Afterward, (and the adrenaline subsided) he cried for a few minutes and said he never wanted to ride it again!

Emerson's first purchase (a dinosaur that roars) - he has been saving his money for the last year with the intent on buying what he wanted for himself while at Disney.
