In a Holding Pattern

After another doctor visit today, Dr. Butler determined that I have not progressed over the course of the last week. He feels like I could just as likely stay this way for a little while - 2 cm dilated - or I could make progress quickly. We are playing the waiting game. I have come to the conclusion that I just need to be ready for anything. Emerson is now considered full term, which happens at 37 weeks, and I need to be patient as I wait for him to decide to come out. Please pray for my patience, and Chad for his sanity. He has been forced to deal with my many mood swings again over the last week (I think he is having flashbacks to earlier in the pregnancy).
